An IMS Gas Turbine Engineer at an Installation

Provision of Gas Turbine Service Personnel

The supply of qualified IMS Service Personnel to perform fault-finding activities and service work on rotating equipment at a customer’s installation or designated overhaul workshop, either on an ad-hoc call-out basis or as part of a long term scheduled maintenance programme.

IMS have available a multi-disciplined workforce of skilled Service Personnel who are available 365 days of the year to perform service work on a range of rotating equipment. The main area of service expertise of IMS is with the Ruston industrial gas turbines (primarily the TA, TB, TD, Tornado and Typhoon ranges of machines) but other rotating equipment can also be considered depending on the specific nature of the customer requirement.

Every IMS field technician and gas turbine engineer is individually assessed to determine his particular skill level and subsequent training needs. These assessments are performed on a regular programme and form the basis of the IMS Competency Assessment Programme for Gas Turbine Service Personnel.

IMS Service Personnel are available for performing ad-hoc trouble-shooting duties, routine scheduled gas turbine maintenance and long term standby and training contracts, generally as part of a Technical Support Contract. The requirements of a particular activity are discussed between the customer and their designated Customer Focal Point so that the IMS service engineer with the correct skills level and experience can be nominated for that particular requirement.

The standard charging rates for IMS Service Personnel, together with the commercial terms and conditions under which these personnel are provided, are available on request. Please contact us for more details.
