IMS is an independent gas turbine service company that specialises in industrial gas turbines such as Ruston TA (TA gas turbine) and TB (TB3000, TB4000, TB5000 & TB5400 gas turbines), TD, Tornado and Typhoon gas turbine series of engines.
We offer a comprehensive range of gas turbine services and products including repair, bespoke maintenance packages and spares strategies. Other rotating equipment can also be considered depending on the type and nature of customer requirement.
Since 1998, IMS has been supplying and repairing parts on industrial gas turbines. Typical repair procedures include machine welding, brazing, coating and re-forming in addition to a variety of non-destructive testing techniques.
On-Site or Well Equipped UK Facilities
IMS can provide repair, maintenance and refurbishment services both on site and at its well equipped UK facilities near Aberdeen, Scotland. Our gas turbine overhaul facility has a full range capacity on the Ruston TA and TB suite of gas turbines. The TB test berth has the capability of testing all marks and ranges of the TB machine including TB3000, TB4000, TB5000 gas turbine, and TB5400.
Our warehouse facilities hold comprehensive equipment for industrial gas turbines and to utilise maximum use of this, IMS produce advisory spares lists that are designed to cover a number of eventualities with the customer’s gas turbine operation. This saves time and money in the event of a breakdown or during routine maintenance work as the necessary spares will always be on hand to install immediately. The types of recommended spares lists for industrial gas turbines include: frontline spares; consumable spares; major inspection kits; spares stockholdings, strategic insurance spares and operational spares.
