IMS is a rapidly expanding company in gas turbine maintenance and gas turbine repairs. Founded in 1998 to provide technical support to customers to ensure the smooth running of all gas turbines operations, IMS has since grown into one of the UK’s leading full service providers in turbine based power generation. Our in-house service covers a wide range of gas turbine installations including Ruston TA, TB 3000, TB 4000, TB 5000 & TB 5400, TD and Tornado & Typhoon gas turbines.
IMS offers extensive maintenance support designed to improve overall gas turbine efficiency, performance and reliability. Gas turbine services offered by IMS can be broken down into four key areas. They are:
Technical Support
Our technical support packages are designed to ensure you’re getting the best out of your gas turbine operation. We offer maintenance audits in accordance with the ISO9000 Quality Standard and maintenance strategy reviews to reduce annual maintenance costs and to maximise equipment availability.
Field Service
Our experienced gas turbine engineers are available to carry out repairs and perform regular services on rotating equipment either on an ad-hoc basis or as part of a long-term maintenance contract. This can be arranged from either the installation stage or as part of the customer’s gas turbine overhaul process. IMS also provides gas turbine tools on a hire basis for the duration of inspection to reduce downtime and eliminate unnecessary costs.
Repairs and Gas Turbine Overhauls
IMS carries out an extensive range of component repairs in accordance with IMS Quality Standards. This covers on site repairs such as small assembly components like control system PCBs, fuel burners and pumps.
Spares Service
IMS provides recommended gas turbine spares lists to cover any eventuality giving the customer complete peace of mind in the event of a breakdown or during scheduled maintenance work.
